After three years hosting the Presidency of ISTMA Europe, Jari Saaranen and the Finnish Association are handing over the presidency role to Joaquim Menezes and CEFAMOL - the Portuguese Mouldmaking Association for a three-year’s mandate (2017-2020).
In July 2016 as started the European project "SAMT SUDOE - Spread of Additive Manufacturing (AM) and advanced materials Technologies for promoting industrial KET (Key Enabling Technologies) in mould and plastics industries within SUDOE space".
On 15 and 16 September 2016 leading industrial and research experts will gather in Brussels for a major conference on the future of manufacturing in Europe - Factories of the Future Conference 2016: Materialising Factories 4.0.

Organized by ISTMA Europe, in close cooperation with the European Platform and ManuFuture Initiative, the Finnish city of Tampere will host the fifth edition of European Tooling Forum on the 8th June 2015.
This event is taking place between 5th and 7th May at FEUP University, Porto in Portugal and it's organised by the Fórum Manufuture Portugal with the involvement of EFFRA Association and Manufuture Technology Platform.
