AVEP

Tooling Technology Roadmap


 

A Technology Roadmap was developed to support the Tooling industry in the identification of critical development axis for the next ten years. The Tooling industry supply-chain, academic and research groups and governments were involved in its development, having jointly identified and prioritized the technologies needed to support strategic R&D, marketing and investment decisions.

In this context, the next graphic presents an overview of European Tooling Technological Road Map, foreseeing the major challenge areas for the Tooling Industry, on the short, medium and long term.

The roadmap was presented and approved at the European Tooling Forum 2019, last 12th November 2019, in Brussels, with the participation of DG Research & Innovation, DG GROW, MANUFUTURE, EFFRA & ISTMA.
